Charity concert for Queen’s 86th birthday in Stradbroke

A charity concert will be held in Stradbroke at the weekend to celebrate the 86th birthday of the Queen.

The musical event is being organised by the Stradbroke and District branch of the Royal British Legion and will feature the Ipswich Hospital Band from 7pm at the Stradbroke Business and Enterprise College on Saturday. All proceeds from the concert will go to the RBL Poppy Welfare Fund.

Many raffle prizes have so far been donated, including a family pass to the summer opening of the state rooms at Buckingham Palace, donated by the Royal Collection Enterprises on behalf of the Queen. Tickets are �5 and are available at Stradbroke and Horham Post Offices.
