A CCTV hard drive has been stolen from a shop in Thetford.

The burglary happened on December 17 between 5pm and 6pm at the Select and Save store on Pine Close.

After realising the system wasn't working, the cashier noticed the rear door to the building was insecure and a store room door forced open. The hard drive to the CCTV was no longer there.

A large quantity of cigarettes was also taken. It is thought more than one person would have been involved.

Anyone with information should contact PC Ian Hinchcliffe at Thetford Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
