A church in Cawston has marked the Feast of the Epiphany with a focus on giving.

Worshippers at Cawston Parish Church brought gifts to a service for St Martin's Housing Trust, as part of the church's bid to help the homeless during winter.

Epiphany is the time of year when Christians remember the Wise Men's gifting of the baby Jesus and the church decided this would be an appropriate time to replicate their generous giving.

Reverend Andrew Whitehead, said: 'We wanted to offer an opportunity for people to give as well as receive, and to share some of the joy of Christmas with the wider community.

'The St Martin's Housing Trust do such valuable work with the homeless community in Norwich and we wanted to support them in a thoughtful yet practical way.'
