Police and fire crews were called to Hulver Road, in Mutford, last night to two cars on fire.
The crews were called at around 11.40pm to reports of the fire off a dirt track.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said that it appeared a window was smashed of a 04-plate Mitsubishi L200 before it was set alight, causing substantial damage. The fire then spread and caused damage to a BMW parked nearby.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Sgt Lee Simons on 101.
