Car collides with tree after leaving the A11 near Thetford

A person has escaped with minor injuries after colliding with a tree off the A11 near Thetford.

Emergency services attended the scene near Roudham Heath at around 1.40pm where a silver Vauxhall Corsa had collided with a tree.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent two appliances from Thetford, with Norfolk Police and an ambulance also attending.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the car had left the A11 on the northbound carriageway and was not blocking the road.
