A driver was taken to hospital after a car and van crashed outside a north Norfolk town this morning.
The collision happened one mile out of North Walsham on the B1150 in the small village of Westwick at 6.20am.
A Vauxhall Combo van and Ford Fiesta car were involved.
A Norfolk police spokesman said the driver of the van was taken to hospital with 'back complaints' but the injuries were not serious.
She added the incident was caused because of 'driver error'.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust were also called and the road was clear by 9.10am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the injured patient was a man believed to be in his 40s.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital after the crash.
