A busy Norfolk road will be shut through rush hour after a car crashed into a railway bridge.
Beighton Road, off of the A47, in Acle is expected to be closed until after 10am.
Police were called to the area at 12.15am this morning after reports of a car crashing into a railway bridge.
The vehicle has been recovered and the driver was not injured.
The road remains closed with diversions in place as Network Rail check the bridge for structural damage.
Norfolk Police posted on Twitter: 'Beighton road, Acle will be closed until 10am today following a collision.
'Closure between junction with Hillcrest and Jollys Lane. #ccr #NorfolkRoads.'
