A Norwich-based supplier of offshore engineering services has announced a new addition to its top team.
Aquaterra Energy, which has its headquarters in Alkmaar Way, has appointed oil and gas industry veteran Christian Berven as business development manager.
Mr Berven has worked across Europe and the Middle East in his 22-year career, and joins the company following 10 years as managing director of Norwegian oil service company Toolserv.
Aquaterra – which secured a multimillion pound private equity investment last year to support its growth strategy – has also announced the opening of new offices in Stavanger in Norway, to strengthen its international operations.
Mr Berven said his aim is to drive the firm's ambitious growth and expansion plans forward. 'Aquaterra Energy has huge potential to evolve and develop as an essential service and solutions provider in Norway and across Europe,' he said.
