Colourful shards of glass were turned into pieces of artwork on Thursday when students took part in a stained glass window making workshop.
Local artist Teri Lockton paid a visit to Burston Community Primary School, near Diss, to teach students how to make their own stained glass.
Around 20 students from classes 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in the workshop, which was made possible by the Diss Decorative Fine Art Society, who funded the project.
The artist showed the pupils how to turn pieces of different coloured glass into art using putty to merge them together.
Rallou Wareham, assistant headteacher at the school, said it would be nice to put the finished pieces on display in the school. However, they were restricted on space.
'This has given them an opportunity to something that is not normally on the national curriculum and be creative, which is something all abilities can do. It has been a really good morning and they have really enjoyed it,' she said.
