A broken down bus is causing gridlock in the centre of Norwich this morning.
Traffic is at a standstill around St Stephens Street, Chapelfield Road and Grapes Hill. The hold ups have been caused following the breakdown at 7.30am.
The bus is on the yellow traffic box coming out of St Stephens Street.
Hundreds of people were likely to be late for work following the hold up. Cars can turn left into St Stephens, but the rest of the roundabout is blocked with the scene resembling a car park as no vehicles can move.
Police were also on scene trying to help clear the area and the bus was removed by 9.20am
