Thousands of homes north of Norwich suffered a brief power cut this afternoon.
A fault on the high voltage electricity network saw power to homes and businesses in Mile Cross and Hellesdon fail, with traffic lights also put out of commission.
The power went down at 5.11pm, but engineers for UK Power Networks were able to restore power within 11 minutes.
Drivers reported the traffic lights failing near the Asda supermarket in Hellesdon and the Mile Cross junction where Aylsham Road and Cromer Road meet the ring road.
A UK Power Networks spokesman said: 'We managed to restore power to all customers through alternative cables, by remote control, and would like to apologise for any inconvenience the incident caused.'
