More than thirty different attractions will entertain Bradwell residents at probably the biggest event to take place in the village in recent years.

Bradwell Community Fete takes place on June 10 at the Green Lane Playing Fields and will feature a host of different organisations and entertainment.

The event is the brainchild of an organising committee of fifteen residents and aims to replace previous smaller events with something that will appeal to the whole community.

The committee is co-chaired by local businessman David Fowler and the Rev Matthew Price, Curate of St Nicholas, Bradwell.

Mr Price said: 'We want it to be an afternoon that celebrates all that is great about Bradwell and provides a fun and low-cost afternoon for the whole community. We'd particularly like to thank the parish council for permission to use the Green Lane Playing Fields.'
