Members of Sheringham WI dressed in full Bollywood costumes and learned danced routines on a hot and sultry night in the town.

Spokeswoman Liz Withington said: 'The weather was reminiscent of India, Jaya dance came and put the ladies, complete with bindis and full Bollywood costumes, through their paces.

'Everyone enjoyed taking part and thoroughly enjoyed the chance for some exercise in such a fun and different way.

'I think most of our brains ached afterwards from remembering routines. The evening was topped off with a curry supper cooked by members.'

The group is looking ahead to its Big C cuppa on the East Prom on July 12, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

They will also be at the Sheringham Carnival car boot and running the vintage tea party for the carnival again. All the proceeds, except St Joseph's Church hall costs, go to the Carnival Association funds.
