A police investigation has begun after a body was discovered on the beach at Orford Ness on the Suffolk coast.
Police were called at about 11am this morning (Sunday) by the National Trust, who reported discovering the body on the beach.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the person has not yet been identified.
A police scene will remain in place on the beach, which is about 12 miles south of Aldeburgh, while the investigation takes place.
