Youngsters at a Lowestoft-area primary school were given the chance to find out more about where food comes from during a recent visit.
Reception children from Blundeston Primary School enjoyed a morning at Somerleyton Hall and the surrounding area, as they explored crops and livestock.
Polly Wolfson, early years teacher at the school in Church Road, Blundeston said: 'They looked at wheat, sugar beet and potatoes – discussing the food that we get from each crop – as well as visiting fields of cattle and sheep.
'All children had the opportunity to see where food comes from and the processes involved.
'We would like to thank Mr Whymark and Mr Harding for giving up their time to allow us another fantastic school trip,' she added.
