Fire crews were called after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a house in Diss.
Emergency services were called at 3.30pm today (July 5) to reports of smoke coming from the two-storey detached house in Field House Gardens.
Two crews from Diss together with appliances from Long Stratton and Harleston were sent to deal with the blaze that is believed have started in a cooker.
Fire crews were still at the house at 5pm clearing smoke out of the building.
Police and the ambulance service are called to what is a cul de sac of modern housing in the quiet residential street. No one is believed to have seriously injured.
