POLICE are appealing for information after a bike was stolen in Gorleston - despite having its front wheel locked.
The bike, a Saracen 2000 with a silver and black frame and red and black saddle, had been left by its owner outside a passageway on the High Street, near the Commodore pub.
A chain had been locked through the front wheel but when the owner went to collect it he found it had been stolen. The bike was taken some time between 5pm and 8pm on Saturday, September 15.
Anyone who witnessed the theft, or has information about it, should call PC Keir Stannard on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
