Trading Standards officers have warned people in Norfolk to beware of so-called 'Olympic Lottery' scams taking advantage of enthusiasm for London 2012.
Fraudsters use letters, emails or text messages to contact people, claiming to be associated with the UK National Lottery and the International Olympic Committee.
Officers advise not responding to any contact that arouses suspicion or from a lottery you have not entered, and never to pay fees or disclose bank details to collect supposed winnings.
Scams can be reported via Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
