Pedalling through the Broads at the height of summer can be thirsty work.
Which is why Woodforde's Brewery will ensure riders at this year's Richardson's Tour de Broads have a reward at the finish line with a brew made specially for the event.
On Sunday, August 21, the Broadland-inspired brew, 'Beer de Broads' will be exclusively available to riders, courtesy of head brewer Belinda Jennings.
Woodforde's managing director Rupert Farquharson said: 'We've used the finest raw materials from the local region to produce a Broadland-inspired beer for the riders.'
Greg Munford, chief executive of Richardson's Boating Holidays and new chairman of Broads Tourism, said: 'Training for the ride has immersed me in another side of the Broads – the land. It's now great to see one of our newest Broads Tourism members, Woodforde's, producing a special craft beer for this very special event.'
Neil Turner, from Pedal Revolution, the organisers of Tour de Broads, added: 'Our vision for Tour de Broads is to engage, inspire and enable people from all walks of life to come and enjoy cycling in our beautiful corner of the world.'
A new limited edition of Tour de Broads jerseys is now in stock, available at £34.99 from www.store.pedalrevolution.co.uk/tour-de-broads-jersey
