Fire crews were called to a property in Beccles today after it was struck by lightning.
The building, on Old Market Street, was struck following a storm that spread across Norfolk and Suffolk this afternoon (Saturday August 25).
Crews from Beccles and Bungay were at the scene at approximately 5.15pm. The incident was brought under control by 7pm.
The care of the building has now been left in the hands of the owner.
