More than 150 youngsters are now in the running to be crowned Baby of the Year as entries close tomorrow.

Until 4.30pm on Saturday you can bring your baby along to Castle Mall for the chance to win a portrait worth over £200.

You can bring along your baby or toddler to be photographed on level one of Norwich Castle Mall just outside Pound World.

The four categories are: 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 3-5 years.

The parents of the overall winner (the baby with the most number of votes in any category) will receive a 20in x 16in portrait of their baby (worth £215).

Each category winner will receive a 15in x 12in framed portrait (worth £129).

The runner up in each category will receive a 10in x 8in framed portrait (worth £95).

Christina Llewellyn has been at the stall this week and said there had been a vast number of boys entering this year.

'I think we have had a baby boy boom here,' she said. 'I would love to get a few more girls coming along.

'Parents have the option to buy the photograph, and every baby is beautiful in their parents' eyes. There have been some really cute and handsome babies this year.'

Castle Mall center manager Amanda Phillips said; 'We are delighted to be hosting the Norwich Evening News Baby of the Year competition. So if you're a proud parent, grandparent, aunty or uncle pop down to the Castle Mall to have your beautiful baby or cute toddler photographed for the chance to win.

'Castle Mall will also provide some vouchers to the winner.'
