An award-winning Norfolk butchers shop has been targeted by vandals.
The Bradwell Butchery, in Bradwell, near Great Yarmouth, had its shopfront windows smashed in the early hours of this morning (August 6).
Describing the damage as devastating, owner Andrew Edmonds said: 'There seemed no attempt had been made to get in so one can only think it was premeditated mindless vandalism.'
Police are now investigating the attack on the butchery in Crab Lane.
It is believed the offenders may have been caught on CCTV.
While Mr Edmonds, whose independent business currently holds the title of Midlands and East of Englands Butcher Shop of the Year, said the attack has left him feeling deflated and despondent, he added that it would not stop him from trying to make a difference in the community.
He said: 'It made me wonder if I should be trying to make a difference - why bother to make everything look nice?
'But I do not want to see my shop with shutters pulled down. We want the place to look like Bradwell - a nice community. Hopefull I will get my positive spirit back and this won't stop us from continuing our good work.
