East Anglia's Children's Hospices has received a boost following a donation from the Attleborough Writers' Group.
The group presented a cheque for �224.61 to Claire LeLievre, community fundraising co-ordinator for the charity, after a raffle for a Christmas hamper raised �100 at a recent book launch.
The hamper was then re-raffled by a member of the writers' group EACH shop in Attleborough to raise more funds for EACH.
The group published their third anthology of poems and short stories, entitled Highlights, in December which received the seal of approval from BBC weatherman Jim Bacon.
