A booming football club has appealed for a new volunteer to come forward to help with its administration.

Attleborough Town Football Club needs a new youth secretary to help manage its junior teams.

Roger Thompson, club chairman, said there were now more than 100 youngsters involved in the club's youth teams.

He said: 'Since 2014 we have doubled our capacity of youth players and we now have virtually a full section of age groups from under-sixes to under-15s to cope with.

'The club are desperate to get help on the secretarial side for the youth teams.

'Club general secretary Richard Seaman is currently inundated with paperwork and really needs immediate help.

'If you can give up three to four hours of your time each week then please get in contact.'
