Students at Attleborough High School turned old junk into jewellery and accessories for their enterprise challenge week.

Computer parts, old board games, sink chains, ripped cloth and broken jewellery were recycled and transformed by pupils from Year 7, 8 and 9.

Students were given the challenge of using a range of work related skills to set up a profitable business and the Creative Accessories group were filled with inspiration and created some beautiful pieces.

Their environmentally-friendly brief was to re-use the items, which had been donated by staff, students and friends, to create items of jewellery which could be sold at the end of the week in their enterprise fair.

By the end of the week, they had produced necklaces, cufflinks, key rings all displayed on luxurious satin embossed jewellery display units also produced by the students from recycled materials.

Their hour-long sales raised a 128, which the group decided to donate between the charities The Big C and Help for Heroes.
