A leading apprenticeship provider has joined forces with Norwich City Football Club as they both look to use the power of sport to help change the lives of young people and engage with the local community.

National company 3aaa, which offers a personalised service to young people in more than 36 locations across England, has teamed up with the Canaries after opening a new apprenticeship academy in the heart of the city.

Former City defender Marc Edworthy, who now works as the Power of Sport lead for 3aaa, said: 'We are extremely excited about this partnership with Norwich City as they share our passion and drive for helping young people, and completely understand our vision of using the power of sport to do this.'

3aaa specialises in the delivery of professional services apprenticeships such as technology, accountancy, digital marketing, financial services, and business administration.

Its aim is to change the lives of young people through its work with local employers, recruiting young people to find a pathway into the career of their dreams.

The company believes it shares a similar philosophy to Norwich City, which is renowned for its youth set-up.

The club's under-18 team won the FA Youth Cup in 2013 and a number of promising young stars have been developed.

Steve Hobin, Norwich City's senior partnerships manager, said: 'We are really delighted with this partnership and look forward to a productive working relationship with 3aaa in the future.'

The club and 3aaa have made a video highlighting the work both parties do to help nurture and encourage talented young people.
