A woman who was found dead at her home in Gorleston has been named as police try to trace her family.

The body of 73-year-old Betty Orris was found at her home in High Road at around 12.30pm on Monday following concerns for her welfare.

Officers investigating Betty's death have confirmed they are not treating her death as suspicious and are now appealing for help in tracing her relatives.

A post mortem examination has found she died of natural causes.

Officers are now trying to trace anyone who may have known Betty, who lived alone. Anyone who has details of family and friends is asked to call Norfolk Coroner's Office on 01603 663302.

Jamie Skinner Sadly the house has been in a state of disrepair for many years as I used to see it a lot. I was surprised I saw this woman living in it. It's a shame I believe she was a hoarder.
