A planning inspector has this week heard an appeal to overturn a decision by the borough council to reject seven new retail units on a factory site.
The appellant is Pasteur Retail Park Limited who want to build seven shops on undeveloped land on the Pasta Foods site on Pasteur Road, Great Yarmouth.
Councillors voted against the plan in December last year.
On Wednesday the inspector heard representations from the applicant and also the borough council. A decision has yet to be made by the inspector.
