Appeal after Great Yarmouth burglary

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Great Yarmouth.

An unknown person forced their way into the detached bungalow in Crosstead via a rear window some time between 3pm and 5.45pm on Saturday (November 17), while the occupant was out with his family.

The burglar searched the property and left via a side window but it is not yet known if anything has been stolen.

Officers particularly want to speak to a white male with a bike who was seen near the junction of Jellicoe Road at around 5pm, but are urging witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.

Call DC Kevin Maskell at Great Yarmouth police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
