Competitors are getting ready to flip their way to victory in the annual Lowestoft Pancake Race.
This year's event is once again being organised by Lowestoft Vision, which is encouraging businesses and clubs in the town to enter the relay race.
Team Wilko will be looking to defend their trophy against stiff opposition, which last year saw the first sudden death race between Wilko and The Beach Radio, as the team of judges couldn't separate the two. The final also saw the Lowestoft Journal and Heart Radio finishing third and fourth.
Darren Newman, Lowestoft Vision business improvement district (BID) manager, said: 'The Pancake Day race has been on the Lowestoft events calendar for many years and has always been a really fun event and we would like to welcome as many local businesses, clubs and organisations to enter.
'The event is always light-hearted and fun but it is interesting to see how competitive teams become on the day, which makes viewing very entertaining.'
The race will take place on Tuesday, February 9 at noon outside Beales Department Store, in London Road North.
Enthusiastic onlookers will be entertained by the mascot race, where Woody Bear from Pleasurewood Hills is reigning champion.

The main Pancake Day relay race will follow, and teams of three will battle against each other over the short course, flipping pancakes as they strive to finish in the quickest time.
Entry forms are due by Monday, February 1, and organisers have advised that places are limited to 20 so enter early to avoid disappointment.
