There was change at Cromer Town Council's annual meeting as a new mayor took his seat at the top of the council chamber.
Councillor Tony Nash, who is himself a former mayor, was voted into the top seat as David Pritchard's term in office came to an end.
Mr Nash, a retired policeman, thanked Mr Pritchard for his successful year in office.
Speaking at the meeting he said: 'I find it a huge privilege to be sitting back in this chair. I never thought I would be doing it and I appreciate your confidence in me.'
Mr Pritchard, who will chair the council's works and general committee said he had had a wonderful year.
He said: 'It has been a brilliant experience and I have enjoyed everything I have done. I will remember it for the rest of my life.'
And Councillor Tim Adams, who has been deputy mayor the last four weeks after the resignation of Dorothy Airs, was appointed deputy mayor for the next year.
It was announced at the meeting that Councillor Gregory Hayman had handed in his resignation to spend more time on his art.
