The roof of the Aldiss Store in Fakenham has partially collapsed after bad weather swept across the town yesterday afternoon.
The shop was celebrating Norfolk Day when heavy rain started to fall, which caused some of the roof to give way and start leaking water.
A staff member has described the incident as 'bad' and said that the electricity has had to be turned off.
Staff are currently moving furniture out of the way to avoid water damage.
After nearly two months without rain in some parts of the county, severe storms swept west Norfolk with hail and torrential rain falling in some areas.
The store opened as normal on Saturday.
