Investigators have sent out a warning to personnel at an American airbase after sensitive military details were leaked through a social networking website.
Investigators are urging US personnel at RAF Lakenheath to be cautious after military details were leaked via a networking website.
Ryan Amedure from the US Air Force's Office of Special Investigations at the base said he had investigated several personnel who had been questioned about missions and weapons over the past few months through myspace.com
He told military paper Stars and Stripes. "There's nothing wrong with having a myspace site, people just have to use good judgment."
No arrests have been made in connection with the probe.
RAF Mildenhall is not carrying out any similar inquiries but said personnel were regularly briefed on what they could say or put on the internet to avoid passing information to enemies.
