Police have issued a warning to locals, urging them to secure garages, sheds and outbuildings – and to secure items inside – after two recent burglaries in Lowestoft.
Someone entered a garage at Elm Coppice between Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, July 4 and stole items including three air weapons, several motorcycle crash helmets, items of food and drink, blue motorcycle boots and red, white and blue motorbike leathers. Information to PC 1537 Wells at Lowestoft police on 101.
A garage at the back of homes at Northgate was broken into and searched between 10.30pm on Wednesday, July 3 and 8.30pm on Thursday, July 4. A power drill and camping stove were taken and damage caused to a wing mirror of a car parked inside. Information to PC 1605 Johnson on 101.
