A woman was taken to hospital after she collapsed in a Norfolk village.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to Forncett St Peter just before 2pm today, to reports that a woman in her 60s had collapsed.

The air ambulance team Dr Vicky Smith and critical care paramedic Gary Steward flew to the village in Anglia One.

The woman was assessed and treated by the air ambulance crew who then escorted her by land ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The patient is said to be in stable condition.
