The East of England Air Ambulance was called to North Norfolk twice in a single day last week.

On September 6 the crew attended incidents in both Mundesley and Stalham.

The first call out came at 11.20am, when the crew was needed in Mundesley to administer a sedative to a woman in her 30s who had suffered a medical emergency.

The helicopter landed in a field nearby to the scene and then accompanied the land ambulance transporting the patient to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The second call out came at around 9.30pm, to reports of a road traffic incident where a casulty had to be cut from the vehicle on the A149.
