The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called into action on Tuesday night when a man in his eighties suffered a heart attack in Aylsham.
Critical-care paramedic Rod Wells sedated the patient and assisted the East of England Ambulance Service team with resuscitation.
The man was then taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by land ambulance.
