Motorists on the A47 endured rush-hour delays after a car ended up in a ditch near the Thickthorn roundabout.
Fire, police and ambulance crews were called to the scene after the incident which happened at about 5.15pm today (Friday).
One eastbound lane of the A47 was temporarily blocked between the A11 Newmarket Road and the A140 Ipswich Road, leaving traffic moving slowly in the other lane while the car awaited recovery.
A Norfolk police spokesman said the driver was uninjured. Emergency teams cleared the scene by 7.15pm.
