Emergency services were called to a rush hour crash on the Acle Straight.
The police and ambulance service were called at about 5.20pm.
Firefighters from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston also went to the scene and helped to get casualties from their vehicles following the crash.
Queues snaked back to Great Yarmouth. First buses tweeted that services X1 and X11 were being disrupted because of the crash and delays were expected throughout the evening.
The road had reopened by 7.45pm.
