A140 re-opens after car hits two horses

The A140 was closed in both directions for more than two hours this morning after a car hit some horses.

The accident happened at about 5am at Swainsthorpe, which saw two horses involved in a crash with a motorist.

Fire crews from Carrow and Earlham also attended the incident, assisting police.

The incident saw motorists facing early morning delays and diversions, with the road re-opening shortly after 7am.
