O2 has launched a 4G service in Acle and is carrying out further work to improve to improve 2G and 3G coverage in the area.

A spokesman for the company said: 'O2 has recently introduced its 4G service to Acle. The successful implementation of the 4G network will allow its customers to experience a new level of high speed mobile internet.

In addition to the launch of 4G, O2 is upgrading its 2G and 3G network in the area as part of its network modernisation programme.

'Work is due to start on 26 June and will be completed by 28 June. Customers may experience intermittent service during the work – O2 recommends using their TU Go app which will allow its customers to make and receive calls on any wifi-connected device.
