A car showroom has been left with a £45,000 bill after a car crashed into the business in Hempnall this morning.

The crash happened at about 6.30am on Mill Road and saw a wall destroyed and three cars written off at W.S.Kilbourn & Son.

The car that caused the damaged ended up on its roof. No one was injured in the accident, that happened in frosty conditions

Owner of W.S Kilbourn & Son, Mark Kilbourn said: 'It happened about 6.30am. Three of our cars have been written off and a wall was damaged.

'I have been busy all morning cleaning up the mess. We are open as normal.'

Mr Kilbourn estimated the damage caused was £45,000 and said the driver of the car was from the village.

South Norfolk police tweeted after the accident to say no one was hurt and urged drivers to drive slowly in frosty conditions.
