A prolific shoplifter has been banned from entering shops across Norwich.
Leif Doolan-Notschild, 27, of Pyes Yard, was sentenced at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on August 24 after pleading guilty to theft from a shop.
He was handed a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), which was granted for two years, after pleading guilty to a charge of theft from a shop.
The offence took place on December 15, 2025, when steaks were stolen from a store in Prince of Wales Road.
PC Conor McCartney, from the Operational Partnership Team in Norwich, said: "This individual continues to commit shop theft offences on a regular basis across Norwich, which can have a significant impact on businesses, retail staff and customers.
"The Criminal Behaviour Order places clear restrictions on his behaviour and provides us with additional powers to take action should those restrictions be breached."
The CBO prohibits Doolan-Notschild from entering B&M and Morrisons in Albion Way, Aldi in Drayton Road, Hannants Newsagents in Magdalen Street, Holland & Barrett in White Lion Street, Farmfoods in Westwick Street, and any Tesco or Co-op stores within the Norwich Outer Ring Road.
He was also given a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.
