A man in his 20s was arrested for a drug offence during late-night police patrols in Fakenham.

The arrest took place on Saturday night when officers carried out four positive stop searches.

One of the searches led to the arrest of the man in Queen's Road on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

He was taken to custody for interview and later released on bail while enquiries continue.

A spokesman for North Norfolk Police said: "We'll continue to tackle these issues, and encourage you to get in touch if you have any concerns about drugs or other problems in your area- you can report concerns to us by filling in our report forms online."
