A man arrested on suspicion of rape in Norwich has been released under investigation.
It comes more than a year after the alleged offence took place in Red Lion Street.
Police were called to the busy street at 4.03am on July 20, 2025, and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of rape of a woman.
Police sealed off The Aslan Lounge, while officers conducted their enquiries.
The man has been released under investigation after being bailed several times by police.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said: “Unlike bail, this has no definitive end.”
