Police are investigating after a man in his 70s was found seriously injured on a roadside.

The ambulance service was called to Shernborne Road just outside Dersingham at around 6.30am on Thursday, August 27.

The man was taken to hospital, where he remains.

Officers are currently on scene, carrying out their enquiries to understand the full circumstances which led to the man being injured.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said: "Anyone who may have seen the man walking down the road or who has any relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch, quoting reference NC-27082026-431."
