Thousands of runners will hit the streets of Norwich this week and force several roads to close.
Run Norwich, a popular 10km race through the city, will return on September 6 and bring road closures and parking restrictions to the city centre, Riverside and Carrow Road areas.
The event is immensely popular and attracted 7,800 racers in 2025, more than 1,000 more people than the year before.
Organisers have said the race is expected to draw about 8,500 participants this year.
Competitors follow a route which takes them past some of Norwich's biggest landmarks, including Norwich Castle, Carrow Road and Norwich Cathedral.
Here are all the road closures you need to know about.
Road Closures
7am to 1pm
Westlegate, Red Lion Street, Theatre Street, Exchange Street and part of St Stephen’s Road will be closed from 7am to 1pm.
Chapelfield Road North will also shut from 7.30am.
8.45am to 10.15am
Chapelfield Road, between Chapelfield Gardens and Surrey Street, will be closed from 8.45am to 10.15am, along with Surrey Street itself.
8.45am to 10.30am
King Street, from Dragon Hall to the Riverside and Carrow Road side, will close from 8.45am to 10.30am, including the river crossing.
8.45am to 10.45am
Further closures from 8.45am to 10.45am will include Carrow Road, the route around Norwich City Football Club, Wherry Road, and Riverside Road south of the railway station.
9am to 11am
Prince of Wales Road, Rose Lane and part of King Street between the city centre and Dragon Hall will be closed from 9am to 11am, along with connecting roads around Tombland and The Castle.
9am to 11.30am
Magdalen Street, Blackfriars Street, and Palace Street will also be closed from 9am to 11.30am.
Bishopgate will face restrictions from 9.30am to 11.15am, while Tombland will be closed from 9.15am to 11.30am.
6.30pm to 12pm
A section of King Street will have parking restrictions from 6.30pm on September 5 until noon on September 6.
