Norfolk’s new police and crime commissioner is inviting the public to share their views in one-to-one sessions ahead of him setting his plan for policing in the county.
Reform UK's Colin Sutton, who last month succeeded Sarah Taylor in the police and crime commissioner role after her resignation triggered an election, will hold Time to Talk sessions this Friday (August 28).
Mr Sutton said: "I’m about to launch my Police and Crime Plan consultation. The plan will set out my strategic direction for policing the county with objectives for how policing services will be delivered in Norfolk, so I’m really keen to hear from people about their issues and concerns, as this will inform my plan."
The sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams or by phone, with each conversation lasting up to 15 minutes. Slots are available between 9am and 1pm.
Mr Sutton added: "From mid-September, I will be travelling around the county to meet with as many residents as possible to get their views first-hand, at a local level, in their neighbourhoods, so this Time to Talk session will be a great way to meet some of you in advance."
