A new-look restaurant is set to open in a hotel on a Norfolk town seafront this week.
Queensway Inns has acquired the closed Beefeater on Great Yarmouth seafront and it will reopen this Thursday under its new branding.
The new establishment, located within the Premier Inn on South Beach Parade, is set to be called The Dunes.

It comes after Beefeater announced plans to close all 106 of its UK restaurants on September 10 as part of a major restructuring by parent company Whitbread last month.
Up to 3,800 jobs are at risk nationwide as Whitbread phases out both its Beefeater and Brewers Fayre brands.
The Brewers Fayre restaurant inside the North River Road Premier Inn at Runham Vauxhall closed in July 2024.
Out of 261 sites earmarked for closure, 53 have been sold to Queensway Inns, who plan to relaunch them as a new chain, including the Great Yarmouth seafront premises.

Earlier this month, a Whitbread spokesperson told Newsquest: "Whitbread has reached an agreement for the conditional sale of 53 branded restaurant sites to Queensway Inns, subject to a number of final conditions being met.
"Queensway Inns has extensive experience operating hospitality businesses across the UK and intends to operate the sites as going concerns.
"Subject to completion of the sale and following the relevant TUPE information and consultation processes, around 900 team members could transfer and will be supported through the process."

The closures are part of Whitbread’s new five-year growth strategy to refocus the business and reduce costs by £250 million.
The company will convert some of the restaurant sites into additional Premier Inn rooms and intends to sell off around £1.5 billion worth of freehold properties to fund further growth.

Whitbread currently operates around 86,600 hotel rooms and plans to increase that number to 96,000 by the 2031 financial year.
The company said it will try to redeploy affected staff into other roles within the business but expects significant job losses.
