An investigation into a Rottweiler attack on a beach which left another dog injured has hit a dead end.
It happened after a woman and her Lhasa Apso were approached by another dog, believed to be a Rottweiler, as they were out walking on North Beach in Heacham.
The incident took place on Sunday, July 12, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm.
The Rottweiler is said to have attacked the smaller dog, causing a puncture wound near its spine, while knocking the woman over.
While she was not injured, police issued an appeal for information and released a photograph of a man they wanted to speak to in relation to the attack.
When quizzed about the investigation, a Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman said: "All enquiries have been exhausted pending any new evidence coming to light."
